Resource Inventory

Inventory Sync discovers your resources automatically after you connect an Azure subscription, and refreshes on every scan. Nothing needs to be registered by hand — if CostBeacon can read the subscription, the resource shows up here.

Open Resources in the sidebar to see everything across all connected subscriptions at once. To narrow to a single subscription, open that subscription and choose Resources from its overview.

• Name — Opens the resource detail view, with cost history, tags, and any recommendations raised against it
• Subscription — Which connected subscription the resource belongs to
• Type — The Azure resource type, for example Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines
• Resource Group — Derived from the resource's Azure ID
• Region — The region the resource runs in
• Monthly Cost — Cost attributed to this resource over the last 30 days
• Open Recommendations — How many unresolved optimization findings target this resource

The search box matches on resource name, type, and Azure resource ID, so you can paste a full resource ID from the Azure portal to jump straight to it. Results are paginated; searching applies across the whole inventory, not just the current page.

Sort your attention by the Open Recommendations column — resources with findings against them are where the savings are. From a resource's detail view you can jump directly to its recommendations and act on them.
